Laboratory books

The PRBB distributes free laboratory books to all staff scientists assigned to one of the centers of PRBB and manages the central register of all books.

To request a book, please send an email to with the following information:

- Name

- Institution to which you belong

- Name of the research group

- Number of the laboratory or office

- First book or not.


When the books are ready, applicants will be informed by email to pass by to collect the books at the reception of the grown floor reception.


According to the Code of Good Scientific Practice, the laboratory books should contain, without exception, all data resulting from experiments or observations during the research. This information should be permanently recorded in databases, log books or other appropriate format, and be enabled to be reviewed by third parties. The records also include changes, errors, negative, unexpected or discordant results, and the person who performs or observes.
