2010 és l’Any Internacional de la Biodiversitat i l’Any Internacional d’Acostament de les Cultures. Per aquest motiu els responsables de comunicació dels centres del PRBB i el grup Science meets Society, han pensat en aprofitar aquestes celebracions per organitzar la Jornada de Portes Obertes de 2010 al voltant de la diversitat genètica
Jocs, exposicions, experiments, muntatges multimèdia, concursos... poden ajudar a la tasca divulgativa i en un primer “brainstorming” ja han sortit conceptes i idees molt interessants:
- Mapes genètics
- Variacions genètiques de poblacions: susceptibilitat a malalties, resposta a fàrmacs...
- Els orígens de la humanitat
- Medicina personalitzada (tests genètics): Pros i contres, expectatives, pors
- Seqüenciació del genoma
- Races: concepte obsolet
- Consorci Internacional del Genoma del Càncer
Per compartir-ho amb tots els residents interessats que vulguin aportar noves idees científiques i organitzatives, us convoquem a un:

Open Day 2010: "Same and different"
We are looking for new ways to explain genetic diversity. Ideas? here! (google docs)
2010 is the International Year of Biodiversity and the International Year for the Approachmet of Cultures. For this reason those responsible for the communication departments of the PRBB centres and the Science Meets Society group are planning to take advantage of these celebrations to organize an Open Day of 2010 about genetic diversity.
Games, exhibitions, experiments, multimedia performances, competitions ... can be helpful and informative, and on an initial brainstorming session some interesting ideas and concepts have already been proposed:
- Genetic maps
- Genetic variations of populations: disease susceptibility, response to drugs ...
- The origins of humanity
- Medicina personalitzada (tests genètics): Pros i contres, expectatives, pors
- Genome sequencing
- Races: concepte obsolet
- International Cancer Genome Consortium
In order to share these proposals with all interested residents who want to give new ideas, both about organization and type of activities and about scientific concepts, we invite you to a
